God is In Control

It is a great truth and a comfort to realize that God is in absolute control. When everything in the world seems to be turned on end, God is still the same. Some critics say God is no longer interested in us here on earth. Is that really so? God still does care right? Of course He does!

  1. Look to the past to see God's hand. Exodus 14:21-22, 15:25, 16:4. God takes care of the enemy, he provides water and bread for his people in a wilderness.
  2. We need to remember that we need to be in God's Will in order to see God do mighty things. Numbers 13:26-33. This is the story of the 12 spies. Sometimes the reason we do not see God move the way we desire is because we are not where God wants us to be.
  3. We need to remember who we serve— THE LORD, I Samuel 12:24. God wants us to be zealous, alive, top-calibre and busy serving Him. The tragedy is that many Christians are indifferent and in a backslidden state.

God is still on the throne, still in control. Let the critics say what they wish. Our God is in absolute control.
